Konsistente Gestaltung der Produktionslogistik

Logistic performance has become a key factor for the success of producing companies. As shown by a recent survey, it is particularly challenging for small and medium sized enterprises to reach their logistic objectives. This has various reasons. Within a current research project an appropriate and effective approach is being developed in order to identify all important failures in production logistics. The multitude of all failures identified in cooperation with numerous industry partners has been integrated into so-called "stumbling blocks" of production logistics. By the accurate analysis of the cause and effect a method has been deflected in order to systematically identify potential improvements of the logistic performance.
