Description
This dataset contains the results of a combined structural and dimensional synthesis that has been performed for a case study of a parallel robot for use as a naval testbed as part of a paper published at MDPI Robotics in 2025. The title is "Dimensional Synthesis of Parallel Robots Using Bilevel Optimization for Design Optimization and Resolution of Functional Redundancy", by Moritz Schappler (2025).
The results in this dataset can be used to reproduce the figures and tables of the paper using the code from the paper's GitHub repository. Further, they can be used as a starting value for performing other optimizations with the Matlab toolbox that is presented in the paper.
