Infrared spectrometer Bruker Vertex 80v

The Bruker Vertex 80v can be used for measurements between 50 and 20000 cm-1. An ATR unit (Bruker Platinum) enables investigations between 50 and 4000 cm-1. The FTIR is combined with an adapted IR-microscope (Bruker IR-scope II) for spatially resolved measurements from 600 cm-1. It is also equipped with a cooling and heating stage (Linkam-stage) to conduct measurements in the temperature range of -196 to 600 °C. A common application is the determination of water contents in (experimental) magmatic glasses in the range of a few 100 ppm up to several weight percent.
