Ko Sanders

I am a mathematical physicist working at the intersection of general relativity (GR) and quantum field theory (QFT), using methods from analysis (operator algebras, microlocal analysis), geometry and information theory. I am mainly interested in conceptual questions concerning QFTs in curved spacetimes, black hole thermodynamics and semi-classical quantum gravity. Topics of current interest involve the properties of the quantum stress tensor, relative entropies and related thermodynamic or information theoretic quantities.
