Research interests

Lena Falk is a lecturer at the Department for British and Postcolonial Studies at the University of Hannover and a doctoral candidate at the Department for English, American and Celtic Studies at the University of Bonn. Her research focus lies on queer and gender studies, postcolonial theory, posthumanism, embodiment and speculative fiction. Her PhD project examines queer embodiment in contemporary speculative fiction and explores the promises of reading genderqueerness through a posthumanist lens.
