Project Details
Description
Due to the active introduction of pores and the hybridisation with graded material layers, the spectrum of adjustable component properties as well as the number of controllable parameters and process requirements increase, compared to conventional WAAM and L-DED. In order to meet these new challenges, the influence of relevant process parameters on the weld track geometry, porosity and heat dissipation during manufacturing is modelled and methods of model-based path planning and control are researched.
