Abstract
A newly developed test setup enables the experimental- numerical determination of the effective heat transfer coefficient (HTC) depending on various influences for the forging of EN AW-6082. The HTC was determined as a function of temperature, contact pressure and lubrication using a 1D-FE model and inverse optimization, based on experimental tests.
