Abstract
This article is pursuing two basic objectives. Firstly based on a systematic review of research on quality of history education domain specific criteria should be summarized. On the other hand these results were compared with an interdisciplinary generic framwork. The article discusses the extent to which the combined framework of generic and history education dimensions of teaching quality can enable interdisciplinary communication and starts discussing some research perspectives coming in and out of the focus.
