abstract = "This contribution introduces an adapted test set-up, which will be used to develop new methods for the determination of voltage endurance tests of insulating materials subjected to high DC voltages. The set-up combines the voltage endurance test for approximately 80 - 100 kV/mm of five 1 mm thick samples simultaneously and the space charge measurement up to the break down voltage of several polymeric insulating materials by using the LIPP-method. All components are designed to measure the space charges during the aging process until the breakdown of the sample. The set-up is also designed for examination under different temperatures from 20 to 80\{circ\}mathrm\{C\} and different contact pressures. The components are described in detail to provide a template for constructing further test set-ups and developing optimization with using the LIPP-method.",
